Our Buck Bracket replica mountain goat skull is designed with a universal fit system that allows a wide variety of horn sizes to mount securely. Due to natural variations in pronghorn horn size and shape, some larger horns may fit slightly looser than others.
If your horns feel loose during installation, we recommend wrapping the mounting post with a few layers of painter’s tape before sliding the horn on. This slightly increases the diameter of the mounting point and helps create a tighter, more secure fit while still allowing the horns to remain removable.
For customers wanting a completely permanent installation, putty, epoxy, or similar bonding material can be used to permanently secure the horns to the skull.
